Feeds Interface Upgrade

    We've upgraded the look, feel, and function of our Feeds interface making it easier to quickly create and set up your feeds from one view. Working with feeds will feel familiar to other sections of the Control Panel as you can now quickly navigate through your feeds list while managing each feed, its assets, and its information.

Chat Reactions

    Chat interactivity is an important part of keeping your event viewers engaged during your event. We thought it would be fun to add the ability to add custom chat reactions to your sites! You can change which emojis are used for each event helping users to engage more with one another! Do you want this feature added to your site? Let us know!

General

• As we continue to work to unify branding and simplify workflows, we've cleaned up some more of our Delete Confirmation Modals (Assets, Bios, Categories). This helps ensure that you only delete the things that you intend to.
  
  

Bios

• We moved the way Bios are created into a simpler workflow. Quickly add Bios using the Create Bio Modal and go back into them later to continue filling out information. Now all you need to start setting up your Bios is First and Last name. 
  
  
• We also changed the bio description field so that it now is a WYSIWYG editor. This allows for easier description text customization.

Category Management

• Assets and category management are now more closely linked. For example if a category is deleted, then that category metadata will be removed from all associated assets. This update enables more powerful metadata management using both Assets and Categories services.

Feeds

• We have updated the Feeds UI to match the common Sardius Control Panel list view design. This includes a new tabbed view where users can view and edit the feed overview, general feed settings, and asset builder.
    

• Overview Tab
  • This tab contains all of the main overview fields for a feed such as name, thumbnail, description, public and private settings, and the delete feed button.
• General Settings Tab
  • This tab includes all fields for RSS, Feed Restrictions, and metadata (Tags, Topics, Bios)
• Assets Tab
  • On this tab you can set up a feeds assets by creating dynamic queries, and adding pinned assets.

• We added new fields for viewer segment restriction, public feed discovery, and asset restriction.
  •  Public Feed Discovery allows for the ability to see feed in list of all feeds for an account.
  •  Asset restriction allows for the ability to set all assets in a feed to private.
    
    
    
    
• We added new create feed modal.
  

• We added the ability to build feed queries with custom metadata fields so that you have more flexibility in how you query assets for your feeds.
  • Build Dynamic Feed queries using all custom metadata fields available on your account to query by. 
    

• We added pagination to feeds list.
  • We now show only 25 feeds per page with easy navigation available between each page.

Sites

• We fixed the “Restore Site” label in the “Archived Sites” section.
• We added a new notification for when a site is successfully archived or restored (from archive).

  
  

  

Sponsor Hall

• We added the option to export and import all sponsor hall email templates for use when managing multiple sites for an event. This helps expedite the process of sponsor email creation across multi site events so you only have to do the work once and then can quickly replicate your emails to other sites.

Tickets

• We unified some some of the design for our Products Area which includes managing Tickets and Coupons. These were mostly small style tweaks to bring uniformity to this area of the Sardius Control Panel.

Sardius Admin Panel

• We improved the ability for internal Sardius Account Managers to manage your accounts. These features allow for new and better ways to adjust account limits and help in managing the addition of new features to your account. 
  • Admin Panel support to manage an account’s terms and conditions link.
  • Admin Panel support to limit an account’s site type access (i.e. event, stream only, VOD).
